Starting your group on Headway

To start a group practice on Headway, fill out our interest form to be connected with one of our practice consultants.

 

Adding new providers to your group

New groups / solo providers starting a group practice

If you are new to Headway or a solo provider that is ready to start a group practice, please fill out our interest form to be connected with one of our practice consultants, who will walk you through getting started.
 

Pre-existing Headway group practices 

Group practice owners and admins can add new providers directly through the Manage team section of their Headway admin portal. Learn more: Adding a new provider to your group practice on Headway

 

Adding an admin (non-clinician) to your group

  1. Navigate to “Manage Team page
  2. Click three dots to the right of admin’s name

  3. Click “Remove admin access”

  4. In the “Remove Admin” confirmation box, click “Confirm” to remove admin, or “Cancel” to cancel the action

Once the admin has a verified profile (they'll need to verify their email address before proceeding), reach out to us, and be sure to include their name and the email address associated with their Headway account.

 

Removing an admin (non-clinician) to your group

Group practice owners can remove an admin's access directly from the Manage team page.

To remove an admin:

  1. Navigate to Manage team 
  2. Click the three-dot menu to the right of the admin's name
  3. Select Remove admin access
  4. In the confirmation box, click Confirm to remove the admin, or Cancel to go back

 

Removing or archiving providers from your group

Archiving a provider

Group admins can hide providers who have left the practice, without fully removing them from the platform, enabling continued access to their provider profile history 

To archive: 

  1. Select Manage team from the dropdown menu in the upper left corner of the provider portal
  2. Select Archive provider next to each provider you'd like to hide

To access an archived provider's account:  

  1. Select Manage team from the dropdown menu in the upper left corner of the provider portal
  2. Click on the name of the provider whose profile you'd like to access

 

Fully removing a provider

To fully remove a provider from your group, fill out our deactivation form. Only fill out the form after your group has received its last payout from sessions conducted by this provider.

Once the form is submitted, our team will begin the removal process. 

 

Transferring clients between clinicians within a group practice

  1. Archive that client from their initial provider’s client roster
  2. Navigate to the new provider’s client roster
  3. Select “Add Client"
  4. Once you populate this client’s email address into the dialogue box, our system will automatically recognize that they have an account and they will be added to the new provider’s client list
