Our community guidelines

At Headway, we’re on a mission to build a new mental healthcare system that everyone can access. To help ensure our community is as effective and supportive as possible, we hold ourselves accountable to a set of values. As members of the Headway community, we expect our providers and clients to uphold these same high standards.

  • Engage kindly. Whether speaking with a client, provider, or member of the Headway team, use thoughtful and polite language. Approach conversations from a place of respect and assume positive intent.
  • Respect commitments. Make every effort to meet commitments made to your clients/providers. If this isn’t possible, try your best to proactively communicate the challenges or changes.
  • Act responsibly. Not every relationship will be a perfect fit. If as a provider you feel you’re not the right fit for a client, work with Headway to find one who is and communicate along the way. If as a client you feel a provider isn’t the right fit for you, communicate with the provider and/or Headway team to move forward with next steps.

These guidelines are here to make the Headway community safe and productive. We reserve the right to remove anyone from our community who does not embody these values.  Provider and client relationships can be ended by either party at any time.
